Valvoline opens new Valvoline Instant Oil Change service center in Richmond
Auto industry news : Valvoline, a branded lubricants and automotive services provider, has opened its new quick-lube center – the Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) service center in Richmond in the US state of Virginia.
The company-owned Valvoline Instant Oil Change service center is the first quick-lube location to open in the metro Richmond market. It expands Valvoline’s network of over 1,100 Valvoline Instant Oil Change stores into a new market.
Valvoline says that a key element of its strategy is to speed up the growth of its quick-lube model, which it claims to be about providing a fast, convenient and trusted experience for all customers.
At Valvoline Instant Oil Change service centers, customers get to remain in their cars while the certified technicians of VIOC carry out their service.

Valvoline says that apart from the full-service oil changes completed in only 15 minutes, VIOC offers a wide variety of preventive maintenance services and safety parts replacement.
Most of the VIOC locations also provide fuel system and battery services, says Valvoline and service several vehicle makes and models, including diesel, luxury and hybrid vehicles.
Last month, Valvoline introduced Valvoline Modern Engine Full Synthetic Motor Oil, a new engine oil, to give protection against carbon build-up in Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI), turbo and other engines manufactured after 2012.
