TCS ERP solution deployed by Dutch plastic pipes manufacturer Wavin

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said that Dutch plastic pipes manufacturer Wavin has deployed the TCS ERP on Cloud platform for achieving the expansion of its business in new growth markets in Indonesia and India.

Wavin is said to have been pursuing an ERP solution that can be quickly deployed for realizing its growth strategy in newer markets in the Asia-Pacific region. At the same time, the company wanted the solution to be easy for users to learn and adopt, and also resilient and scalable.

TCS ERP on Cloud platform offers hosted ERP applications and services that can be quickly rolled out across core enterprise processes like procurement, management of supply chain, manufacturing, sales and distribution, finance and also accounting.

According to Tata Consultancy Services, the new platform will help the Dutch plastic pipes manufacturer drive growth in new markets, by utilizing its best-in-class process designs, its intuitive user interface for promoting quick adoption, and its real-time analytics and insights for better decision making.

The TCS ERP on Cloud Platform is said to be hosted on a highly secured and public or private cloud environment and provided via Software-as-a-Service and Business-Process-as-a-Service models, said Tata Consultancy Services. The ERP solution from the Indian IT services company is said to offer a single point of ownership, enhanced performance metrics and compliance to service level agreements.
