Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to open new IT delivery center in Montreal

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said that it will open a new IT delivery center in Montreal, Canada, which will provide services and solutions around cloud computing, machine learning, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and other advanced technologies.

The Indian IT services company will recruit more than 100 new employees immediately, and over 500 in the coming three years.

The TCS Montreal facility will be used for catering to new and existing clients engaged in the transportation, retail, and financial services industry verticals.

Construction of the new 9,500-square foot facility, located in the center of downtown Montreal is in progress and is likely to be wrapped up in April, said Tata Consultancy Services.

Currently, Tata Consultancy Services in Canada caters to over 100 large Canadian enterprises, and also has offices in Toronto, Regina, Calgary, and Vancouver. The company has over 5,500 employees in Canada.

Recently, Tata Consultancy Services announced an investment of more than $518 million in the next couple of years in Ohio, US, while adding 800 new jobs.
