Tata Consultancy Services launches TCS Connected Consumer Home solution

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has rolled out the TCS Connected Consumer Home solution based on Reference Design Kit (RDK) open source platform, for enabling media and communication service providers (CSPs) to come up with intuitive and exciting connected consumer experiences.

Said to be a scalable, intelligent, and secure solution, TCS Connected Consumer Home simplifies customization, facilitates comprehensive device management, improves the control over software roadmaps for service providers, and helps build a rich and consistent customer experience across devices, apps, and channels.

Furthermore, it offers non-invasive device telemetry-enabled data analytics for producing insights for enhancing services, and launching new features based on user behavior data within the connected home ecosystem, across internet gateway, next-gen video, OTT, and also IoT connected devices.

TCS had recently announced the launch of the TCS EngineeringtheFuture-Media Lab for developing and showcasing world class solutions on the RDK platform. The lab is said to be an advanced product research and design facility that enables customers in innovating, quickly prototyping, and in creating ready to deploy solutions.
