Shift4 Payments acquires e-commerce platform provider 3dcart

Shift4 Payments, a US-based payment processing solutions provider, has acquired 3dcart, a Florida-based technology company that provides e-commerce platform for businesses.

3dcart’s feature-rich, multinational ecommerce platform is said to cater to more than 14,000 businesses of all sizes in a range of industries, by providing a unified commerce solution to their customers.

The company helps businesses in developing a secure ecommerce website and sell their products or services online. As part of this, 3dcart offers website builder, product and order management, customer marketing tools, and others.

Customers can select from various professionally designed, industry-specific templates, which are mobile-friendly, SEO optimized, and customizable.

The 3dcart platform is also said to bring various features such as social media marketing, SEO, and a marketplace ecosystem of third-party developers, experts, and affiliates.
