Sandhills Pacific acquires aviation marketplace Aviation Trader

Sandhills Pacific, a subsidiary of US information processing company Sandhills Global, has acquired Aviation Trader, a resource for purchasing and selling new and used aircraft in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Aviation Trader joins a portfolio of Sandhills Pacific brands that cater to the aviation industry. Included in these are Controller, Charter Hub, and Executive Controller which collectively are said to address the requirements of buyers, sellers, operators, and charter travelers across the world.

With the acquisition, Sandhills has launched a completely redesigned AviationTrader.com.au website and Aviation Trader magazine that is published monthly.

The two information assets contain for-sale listings for a variety of aircraft such as jets, piston aeroplanes, turboprop aircraft, piston and turbine helicopters, light sport planes, amphibious aircraft or floatplanes, and also experimental or homebuilt aircraft.

Buyers can also get de-ice and fire extinguishing equipment, tugs and tow bars, fuel trucks, and other for-sale assets that support aircraft and also airports.
