Rinse acquires Chicago-based dry cleaning and laundry provider Dryv

Rinse, a US clothing care brand, has acquired Dryv, a dry cleaning and laundry provider based in Chicago, for an undisclosed price.

The acquisition of Dryv is said to be a significant milestone for Rinse in the Chicago market and in its pursuit for expanding across the US.

Dryv is also the latest in a series of acquisitions for the clothing care brand after OffToYou, which was acquired this year, the San Francisco operations of Cleanly in 2019, and Washio nearly four years ago.

Rinse is said to provide a simple, consistent solution to laundry across seven major markets in the country. The acquisition of Dryv will speed up its capabilities in Chicago and further strengthens it as the leading player in the Chicago market.

Former Dryv customers will get access to the expanded services of Rinse beyond Dry Cleaning and Wash & Fold, which include Hang Dry, repairs, and others.

Besides, Rinse will offer its laundry delivery subscription service Rinse Repeat and its dry cleaning and laundry employee benefit Rinse for Business that collects and delivers laundry at home or the office.
