Regal Ware, a Wisconsin-based company that markets premium food and beverage preparation products, has completed the acquisition of ESPRO premium coffee and tea presses and accessories.

The ESPRO brand had become a part of Regal Ware’s range of kitchen products over the course of the last two and a half years when the company became its majority shareholder.

Bruce Constantine, the founder of ESPRO brand who was the president since the acquisition in April 2018, will leave the company.

Bruce Constantine said: “I am extremely proud of where we’ve taken the ESPRO brand since joining the Regal Ware family. We have launched three new products, building upon the two products that put us on the map in the premium coffee and tea space.

“The groundwork for a world-class brand has been laid. Now, it’s time for someone whose passion is growing the business to take it to the next level.”

ESPRO was established to help espresso professionals enhance the consistency of their coffee-making. Its first products – a calibrated tamper and controlled-flow milk-steaming pitcher is said to have helped baristas make better espresso-based beverages.

The cross-over to the home-barista is said to have got them to concentrate on enabling coffee lovers to make better coffee.

The first consumer product of ESPRO is the ESPRO Press.

After joining Regal Ware a couple of years ago, ESPRO rolled out three additional product lines, which include Cold Brew, Tasting Cups, and the Bloom Pour Over Coffee brewer.

Cold Brew is said to mix three innovations for better cold brew – a couple of filters, an auto-lock valve, and a resealable growler to make brewing simple, precise, and spill free.

With its Tasting Cups, ESPRO is said to give consumers the ability to distinguish specific flavors as each tasting cup is designed for a distinct tasting note.

According to Regal Ware, the 2020 Bloom Pour Over Coffee brewer, most recently, reduced the time to make a professional-cup in half by reinventing the filtration system and optimizing the extraction of coffee.

Dave Lenz – Regal Ware chief operating officer said: “ESPRO is an important, high-quality and relevant brand for Regal Ware and we will continue to invest in its growth and expansion. There are compelling opportunities to grow the ESPRO brand within our existing channels and geographies, while also deepening the relationship of the products and the brand with our targeted consumer segments and seasonal opportunities.”
