Nordex to supply Delta4000 series turbines for 77MW wind farm in Spain

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex Group has bagged an order from an undisclosed customer for its Delta4000 series turbines for a total capacity of 76.8 MW for a wind farm in Spain.

As per the order, Nordex will supply 16 N155/4.8 turbines for what is an expansion phase of a wind farm located in central Spain. The contract also covers the service and maintenance of the Delta4000 wind turbines for a period of two years.

The German wind turbine manufacturer said that the delivery and installation of the first wind turbines will commence in August 2022, and the wind farm is expected to be operational in December 2022.

The Delta4000 wind turbines will be installed on concrete towers with a hub height of 120m, which are produced by Nordex in Spain itself.

In March 2021, the German wind turbine manufacturer won a contract to provide 38 N155/4.8 turbines from the Delta4000 series with a total capacity of 182.4MW, for a wind farm to be constructed in the central Spain.
