1. Mulathee

Biological Name : Mentha piperita

Peppermint oil is obtained from mentha and it is used for rheumatic and other pains.

5. Gandhpura-ka-thel

Biological Name : Gaultheria fragrantissima

It is also known as the oil of wintergreen and it is used in the treatment of various forms of rheumatism.

6. Arandi

The leaves of this plant are half warmed and when they are applied at joints relieves pain. For the better results, apply warm mustard oil over the joints and cover it with arandi leaves. If this is followed for 10-15 days gives complete relief.

  • Unani – Majoon Suranjan, Majoon Auja, Majoon Chobchini
  • Homeopathic – Rhustox 30 and Arnica 30 (alternate with a gap of 3 hrs), Rhustox complex, Ledum complex (for gout) .
