Infosys, RXR Realty develop smart building health and wellness solution

Infosys said that it had joined forces with RXR Realty to build and deploy a smart building health and wellness solution called RxWell, which runs on Microsoft Azure.

RxWell is a public-health-based, data-driven platform, which offers health and wellness insights and management tools. It is designed to help property managers, office workers, and tenant administrators in the safe return to work following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The smart building health and wellness solution had been deployed in 26 office buildings across New York City to enable approximately 1,000 businesses and 70,000 employees to return to work safely.

According to Infosys, the RxWell solution offers a rich set of tools to help ensure compliance to highly important safety protocols like capacity thresholds, wearing of masks, social distancing, and quality of air.

Among the features of the smart building health and wellness solution is a tenant app that helps workers in making decisions about getting back to and staying safe at work, a Tenant Command Center for helping administrators handle the safe return of their employees, and a Building Command Center to aid property managers in protecting tenants, starting with the Building Wellness Index (BWI).
