Hub International acquires Canada-based Salvatore Insurance Brokers
Global insurance brokerage Hub International said that it has acquired Canadian insurance agency Salvatore Insurance Brokers for an undisclosed price.
Based in Sackville, Nova Scotia, the family-owned Salvatore Insurance Brokers serves clients in Atlantic Canada with commercial insurance.
The insurance agency is said to specialize in the transportation sector, which supports the specialty practices of Hub International by complementing and bolstering its existing capabilities in commercial auto and fleet.

Salvatore Insurance’s president Christina Salvatore and her team will join Hub International’s Atlantic Region and report to Susan Murphy, who is the president of Hub Ontario.
