Grindwell Norton announced that SG Shinagawa Refractories India has successfully started commercial production of tap hole clay refractory products in Gujarat for the steel industry.

SG Shinagawa Refractories India is a joint venture between Grindwell Norton and Japanese refractory bricks manufacturer Shinagawa Refractories.

Grindwell Norton, a majority-owned subsidiary of French manufacturing company Saint-Gobain, is an India-based abrasives and silicon carbide manufacturer.
