FireAngel to supply smoke alarms and others to UK F&RS for four more years

FireAngel has been selected as one of the official suppliers of smoke alarms and related products to the UK Fire and Rescue Service (UK F&RS) for the next four years.

The home safety products supplier has been selected through a new framework agreement with the West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority (WMFRA).

FireAngel said that this is the second time that it has been included in the supplier framework agreement of West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority.

The new framework agreement will commence in June 2021.

FireAngel will supply its stand-alone smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and heat alarms, wireless connected homes smoke alarms, and smart homes technology.

John Conoley – Executive Chairman of FireAngel said: “Part of the UK F&RS’s role is to assess UK homes that are vulnerable to risk and install appropriate fire safety measures. The fact that FireAngel has met the strict criteria to be a chosen supplier of fire safety products to UK F&RS is testament to the quality of our products and service.

“Our relationship with the UK F&RS is highly important to us and historically has represented between 5% and 10% of the Group’s annual turnover, through the provision historically of mostly stand-alone alarms.”
