Fiesta Insurance acquires Texas-based La Familia Agency

Fiesta Insurance, a Nevada-based retail franchisor of insurance and tax services, has acquired La Familia Agency (LFAI), a Texas-based insurance agency for an undisclosed price.

Through the acquisition, Fiesta Insurance is said to have grown its presence in Texas, and within corporately owned storefront locations.

Based in Dallas, La Familia Agency distributes insurance and other services across 67 retail storefronts to serve the Hispanic community. The company was established in 2010 and has more than 200 employees.

On the other hand, Fiesta Insurance, which was established in 1999, has more than 80 franchisees operating more than 240 retail stores in 10 US states.

La Familia Agency will maintain the La Familia Auto Insurance brand and the company-owned storefront business model.
