Causes and Symptoms of Diarrhoea:

Diarrhoea is accompanied by cramps, thrust, vomiting and feeling of tenderness in the abdominal region. Diarrhoea is a symptom due to some irritant in the intestinal tract. The irritation may be due to allergy, bacterial or viral infection, swallowing of poisonous substances accidentally, drinking excess alcohol. Sometimes diarrhoea is due to emotions like over excitement or anxiety.If diarrhoea lasts for more than 2 days, doctor must be consulted because it may be a serious infection, glandular disturbance or tumor.

Treatment for Diarrhoea:

Mild infections can be treated by giving bland diet, plenty of fluids like oral re hydration salts and kaolin-pectin compound which is available at any drug store.

Anti diarrhoeals are the drugs that are used for the treatment of diarrhoea for serious infections.
