On the other hand, the Orion food safety business acquisition will create a platform for Bureau Veritas to expand the latter’s food certification footprint in Canada.

The geographic expansion of Bureau Veritas’ food certification business in Canada will also boost its capabilities in market food laboratory testing in the country.

Waylon Sharp – Bureau Veritas VP/COO – Food & Agri North America said: “We are excited to have the opportunity to work with the Orion team to ensure continued delivery of a gold-standard service to Orion’s outstanding food safety clients.
