Arthur J. Gallagher acquires crop insurance provider Kirksey Agency

Insurance brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired The Kirksey Agency, based in West Monroe, Louisiana, for an undisclosed price.

Established in 1980 with crop insurance as its lead product, Kirksey Agency serves the US states of Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

The insurance agency is said to have grown its offerings in recent years to offer a complete variety of commercial and personal products and services to clients in the South Central US.

Bill Kirksey and Grace Kirksey and their team will continue to operate from their existing location under the leadership of Bumpy Triche, who is the head of Gallagher’s Mid-South region retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
