Mansfield Energy acquires oil and lubricants business assets of Hi-Grade

Fuel supply and logistics provider Mansfield Energy has acquired the oil and lubricants business assets of Hi-Grade for an undisclosed price, to expand its offering and capabilities in the US state of Ohio.

Hi-Grade, which was established in 1924, is headquartered in Sidney, Ohio. The company is a provider of commercial fuels, oils and lubricants.

The oil and lubricants products picked up by Mansfield Energy through the acquisition include Valvoline, Pennzoil, Kendall Motor Oil, ConocoPhillips, Shell, Quaker State and 76 Lubricants.

Mansfield Energy says that the acquired business will continue to operate from the existing Sidney location in Ohio while work through its regional office in Troy.

Joe Campbell – Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Development for Mansfield Energy, said: “Adding the Valvoline branded lubricants to our portfolio as well as DEF distribution capabilities will serve Mansfield’s customers well, particularly customers recently onboarded from Mansfield’s acquisition of RW Earhart in October 2017.”

Apart from the residential and commercial fuel and lubricants, Mansfield Energy acquired the card lock facility of Hi-Grade’s Pac Pride.

Campbell added: “This expands our card lock offering in the local area to five locations as well as increases access to the Pac Pride network nationwide. We are excited to welcome the Hi-Grade fuel and lubricants team to our family.”
